Round Floral Container (14M)

Description

This round shallow container is wheel thrown. Textural elements  were carved and pressed into the form and then coloured slip, underglazes, along with matt and glossy glazes were painted and poured onto the surface in order to create the painterly effect. The vase was high fired to stoneware temperature vitrifying the clay and glazes making it completely water tight and washable.
