Short floral container (6P)

Description

This short container is wheel thrown and altered. Textural elements  were carved and pressed into the form and then coloured slip was applied. The piece was then glazed with the traditional Japanese Shino glaze and fired in a gas reduction kiln to stoneware temperature vitrifying the clay and glaze making it completely water tight. It is also washable.
